Warning
I do testing before uploading a package to my repository and I'm in contact with users of my packages. But as much as I try to give you high-quality packages: all packages come without any warranty of any kind. I am not responsible for any damage. Install and use these packages at your own risk.
Archive signing key
Following the Securing Debian Manual (Chapter 7.4 ff), I now provide a signed repository. Therefore you will need the archive signing key. The public key (E394D996) is available in ASCII format wgdd_archive_key.asc or from pgp.mit.edu. After getting it, it's necessary to add this key to apt's keyring using the apt-key command:
-
Install the repository key
$ su -c "apt-get install wgdd-archive-keyring" [..] The following NEW packages will be installed: wgdd-archive-keyring [..] WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated! wgdd-archive-keyring Install these packages without verification [y/N]? y
-
Use the archive key from myserver
$ su -c "wget -O - http://debian.wgdd.de/stuff/wgdd_archive_key.asc | apt-key add -"
-
Get the archive key from a key-server
$ su -c "apt-key adv --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys 0xE394D996"
or
$ su # gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys 0xE394D996 # gpg --armor --export 0xE394D996 | apt-key add -
apt-get
